Všeobecné princípy flexicurity poskytujú členským štátom EÚ základné chápanie jej významu a umožňujú im uvedomiť si výzvy, ktorým koncepcia venuje pozornosť. Pri realizácii koordinovanej a uváženej politiky môžu jednotlivé krajiny a tým aj celá Európa dospieť k zabezpečeniu svojej sociálnej a ekonomickej budúcnosti. Aby boli jednotlivé reformy na úrovni krajín úspešné je nevyhnutné, aby praktické východiská zohľadňovali a rešpektovali rozmanitosť podmienok, ktoré vyplývajú z ich právnych systémov, inštitúcii pracovného trhu a pracovnoprávnych vzťahov.
Ako vyplýva z jednotlivých prípadov v rámci EÚ, je potrebná rozsiahlejšia angažovanosť a pozornosť európskeho spoločenstva, ktorá by pomohla jednotlivým štátom preklenúť regionálne rozdiely a tým by sa dala politika zamestnanosti realizovať na približne rovnakej úrovni aj napriek historickým rozdielom. Podľa nášho názoru predstavuje koncept flexicurity historickú možnosť simultánne pozdvihnúť ekonomickú efektivitu a sociálnu rovnosť na vyššiu úroveň. Flexibilita môže byť predpokladom bezpečnosti a bezpečnosť môže byť predpokladom pre flexibilitu. Oba tieto aspekty by mali byť vnímané ako vzájomne podporné, aby zabezpečili optimálnu prispôsobivosť výzvam globalizácie a demografických zmien. V tomto zmysle môže byť Európa jediným kontinentom, ktorý bude schopný urobiť rozhodujúci krok, ktorý by mohol byť odrazovým mostíkom a uľahčí inak cestu plnú prekážok.
Cieľ, ktorý sme si vytýčili v našej práci sa nám podľa nášho názoru podarilo naplniť a to najmä vďaka hlbšej analýze problematiky s využitím všetkej dostupnej literatúry. Chceme však zároveň poznamenať, že jednotlivé modely na trhu práce a konkrétne aj model flexicurity podliehajú neustálemu procesu zmien. Tie súvisia s potrebou prispôsobovania sa novým trendom a aj z toho dôvodu nie je téma práce nevyhnutne uzavretá.
